Professional Municipal Clerks Week is an opportunity to recognize and celebrate the vital role that municipal clerks play in the efficient functioning of local government. From April 30 to May 6, we honor the hardworking professionals who are responsible for organizing, preserving, and providing access to important municipal records and many other functions. Like the Secretary of State’s office for Arizona, the City Clerk serves as link between Apache Junction government and its residents. The Clerk’s Office also provides notice of municipal proceedings, oversees city elections, the city’s advisory boards and commissions and administers the business licensing program. So a hearty thank you to the city clerk’s office for their hard work, dedication and their unwavering commitment to making Apache Junction a better place for all of us to live, work and play.
