The Public Works Department plans a Household Hazardous Waste Collection event every year. Please watch for the announcement on our website and in the local newspapers.

2. What should I do with my old refrigerator, air conditioner or freezer?

Apache Junction Public Works offers a “White Goods” Collection every year where you can bring your appliances to the Public Works yard at 575 East Baseline. There is a $10 fee for all items that use Freon. All other appliances are free.
