Court Records Request
You can search the Arizona Supreme Court Public Access webpage to check if a person has a case at the Apache Junction Municipal Court or any other participating court.
Criminal case files are retained for five years after the case is closed, eight years if the case had a DUI or domestic violence conviction. Civil traffic cases are retained for one year. A "Request for Public Record" form must be completed to obtain information from a court case file. If you request information or copies from a case in our court there is a $17 minimum clerk fee and $0.50 per page certification fee. If making your request by mail, please include a completed "Request for Public Record" form with payment. Public records requests for case information cannot be handled by telephone.
Audio copies of court proceedings can be obtained if the proceeding was recorded and the record still exists. Audio copies are $17 each.
The Records Retention and Disposition Schedule for Limited Jurisdiction Court is found in Section 4-302 of the Arizona Code of Judicial Administration. It can be viewed by clicking here.
