Public Participation

The City of Apache Junction is required to hold a public participation process in order to be eligible to received Community Development Block Grant and State Special Project funding.

The City of Apache Junction is expected to receive an estimated $100,000 in FY 2020 federal CDBG funds from the Arizona Department of Housing Regional Account (RA). The City of Apache Junction may also apply for up to $300,000 from the FY 2020 State Special Projects (SSP) account. CDBG funds must be used to benefit low-income persons and areas, alleviate slum and blight or address an urgent need.
