Join the City of Apache Junction Parks & Recreation on Saturday, December 2nd for this award winning, FREE downtown event!  The event will take place at Flatiron Park from 3pm-6:30pm. There will be lots of activities throughout the evening for the whole family! Activities include: Santa, vendor booths, arts and crafts, games, music, inflatables, food, Tree Lighting at the Focal Point and will conclude with the Annual Holiday Light Parade. Most of the youth activities will be free but there will be vendors and food options.

Join us at the Focal Point to help light up the town! The tree lighting will begin around 6:30pm. Afterward, stick around and join us for the Light Parade!

The Light Parade starts at 7pm. It begins at Phelps/Main Street heads west to Thunderbird, turns and comes back to Phelps Road. Expect road closures will be from Idaho to Ironwood from about 5pm to 10pm or until roads are clear and can safely be open. 

Parking at the event. There will be parking in the dirt lots east of the Park, please don't park in areas designated for business. We recommend not using North Apache Trail for a pass through, as this area will be slowed and will have pedestrian traffic. You will not be able to exit to Main street from North Apache Trail after 5pm. Please view the following maps for further details:

Holiday Booth Space
Promote your local business or non-profit agency during the event! This is a great time to kick off holiday deals and give out samples/coupons! There is no charge for business located in the City limits. Booths outside the City limits will need to pay a $25/space booth fee and any fees associated with the required event licensing.
               
Vendor Booth Application Due: Friday, November 24th or until space is full.
Vendors who don't have a valid Business License will need to contact the City Clerk's office. 
Any vendors selling items must have a City and State tax privilege license.

Enjoy an Apache Junction Main Street tradition - the 26th Annual Holiday Light Parade will take place on Apache Trail between Phelps and Thunderbird. Parade begins at 7:00pm.

Food Drive

Help us collect non-perishable food for our neighbors in need. Please donate 1 non-perishable food item. All items will be donated to the Apache Junction Food Bank and will be put to good use immediately in feeding the hungry in our area. 


The Apache Junction Food Bank is in need of the following items:

• Canned meats – tuna, ham, turkey, chicken, and beef 
• Peanut butter and jelly (plastic jars) 
• Soups 
• Cereal 
• Vegetables and fruit – canned 
• Beans – dried or canned 
• Macaroni and Cheese 
• Boxed Meals
