The Apache Junction City Council established the Youth Advisory Council (YAC) in order to provide our youth a voice in community issues, educate them on local government, and develop leadership skills in our area youth.  This group will act as teen advisors to the AJ City Council, City Boards/Commissions, and City Departments on matters directly related to youth programming and youth-related issues.  Members are in 8th-12th grade that either reside in or attend school in Apache Junction.
